About the founders
Round Us was a dream for Juan P Segura and Rafael Antunez, when the pandemic hit, as the world closed with fear of the future and uncertainty, many people were trying to help in different ways to keep services running, having a small business themselves they realized the importance of being an active part of society, then later on, they come up with the idea of Round Us to help small business owners, mobile business, entrepreneurs to build and start their own business, and for people to connect as a community, we all strive for connection, this is why Round Us is part of the community.
Juan P. Segura, CEO
Co-founder and CEO of Round Us, Juan P Segura was a small business owner that believed in a fair trade between customers and business, “every job is different, you can’t diagnose a situation or a problem and you can’t price it from a computer far away in your office”. An app should be a bridge to connect people, to bring them together, a platform for small businesses to thrive and grow, to be competitive, to market their skills with communication of real needs and clarity of transactions. In these difficult times it is imperative that we create platforms that help communities and bring them together. Having experiences with routes and small business, mobile business and logistics, he brought his knowledge and creativity to his partner in business to create a platform for the community, where both parties can agree, negotiate and build a relationship, bringing back communities together, that’s the beauty of Round Us.
Rafael Antunez, COO
Co-founder of Round Us Rafael Antunez came from humble beginnings reaching up to a high school education with strong work ethics, troubled by community issues and what can be done to make the world a better place for society he began working on skills that would later on be critical in the development of Round Us. Determined to create a better future, with the help and ingenuity of business partner Juan P Segura they analyzed on what the biggest issues facing society were. They found that mobile services were being left behind by maps and understood there is a way to help reconnect those services to their communities. The experience of working on the road and understanding the issues facing the community and mobile services helped create this app dedicated to services and the community
